A little about my story: A Lifelong Passion: From Nature to Capturing the Essence of Humanity Through My Lens

I have loved photography for as long as I can remember. What a journey it has been! I started taking pictures with disposable cameras as a young child, then point and shoots, film cameras developing my own prints, the first stage of digital cameras and finally DSLR. At one time, I wanted to be the next Ansel Adams. I thought landscape and nature photography was the coolest thing ever. I am a 90's baby after all. However, over time as I began to hone in on what truly brought me joy, it wasn't mountains, flowers and lakes after all. It was people. I fell madly in love with taking candid shots of people while doing some volunteer photography for a church's social media content! From there, I just kept realizing my heart for people shines brightest when I able to photograph people being themselves; capturing their love, joy, strength and beauty through my lens. I truly believe it is an honor to be invited into someone's life and capture their essence. It is a blessing to help them leave a legacy through photos, and therefore, I am the one who receives when I give my time and energy to this craft. My photography is people centric and so is my life.
