This was such a fun time with this family. Their girls remind me of my boys and it was so fun to see them shine their individual lights but also see how they all interacted with one another.
My favorite thing about family sessions are the breakouts where I capture all the combinations of people so we can showcase each very special relationship. The joy this gallery brings me is immense, so I know it does for them too (I've heard rumor about a special piece on their mantle) and that was the goal (plus Christmas card photo)

As I took these photos, there was a group of people that were just marveling at the love between these two! They made comments like "Look at them, you can tell they just love each other!" Moms everywhere, HEAR ME! You can have adorable family photos. This little one had no nap, barely any lunch and spilled milk on his pants on the way to the session! Can I confess that I'm more than a little OCD about most things? I have a process and a why for dang near everything I do. I'm a little too proud when I see my son exhibit similar qualities (as inconvenient as it can be at times). Life doesn't always make sense but sometimes it's nice to look at the forest, and other times it's about a single dew drop in the morning!
